Store Policies

Hours – Of operation are 11am to 7pm eastern time, Wednesday through Monday and the store is closed on Tuesdays.

Appointments – Can be made to see any of our guitars at our New Paltz, NY store or guitars can be shown by appointment in New York City. You can make arrangements to have one of our guitars demoed at a NYC studio location to see if it fits your needs. Studios of choice are Smash Studios on 36th St and Ultrasound Rehearsal Studios on 30th St. Both studios offer a great selection of boutique amplifiers to choose from. Call or email to set up an appointment that’s convenient for you.

Trades – We love trade-ins at Black Creek Guitars. Our favorites are the guitar brands that we sell, but don’t be afraid to call and tell us what you have. We’re always looking for nice a Baker, PRS, Fender or Gibson guitar. Either call to give a description over the phone or email jpegs of your guitar. We pay more for guitars that we can see pictures of, so keep that in mind if you have a digital camera.

Payment – The following forms of payment are acceptable: cash, cashiers checks, certified checks, money orders or Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, and American Express.

Shipping – Black Creek Guitars ships UPS.

Returns – We offer a 48 hour return policy on our guitars. You must contact the store within the 48 hours of delivery and get authorization to send the guitar back. New guitars must be returned with all paper work and warranty cards intact. The guitar must also be returned in the same condition as it was when it was delivered. After the guitar has been received and inspected by Black Creek Guitars payment will be reversed. The customer is responsible for the return shipping and insurance. Guitars must be insured for the full value, no exceptions. No returns on special order guitars or Amps.
